Refined expressive face
Tess started showing as a weanling at the Ottawa area breeder's shows. Her superb conformation and elegant floating movement earned her top ribbons at every show she attended - even though she was shown by kids that had never shown a horse on the line.
We didn't think she was ready,
but she sure fooled us!
Catching the Judge's eye
At just four years old we didn't think she was ready for showing over fences, and decided to show her instead in the Hack Division. Full Tesla (a.k.a. Tess) qualified for the 2008 provencial level Trillium Championships - even though she missed five shows!
Her elegance, splendid conformation, and spectacular movement caught the eye of the judge at every show she and amateur rider Brittany Wheeler attended, resulting in a box full of ribbons, including Reserve Champion ribbons from several shows. Her great attitude, superb movement, excellent balance, and elegant presence far outweighed her inexperience.
Tess has now started over fences and is bringing home ribbons from the Green Hunter classes. After a break to attend the Trillium Championships she will make her debut in the Training Hunter ring. She is a real pro and her easy-going attitude and superb ridability make her a good selection for a junior or amateur rider, and a great Children's Hunter prospect.
