Mom is by Wallis-Nordis, an imported Russian Holsteiner with excellent movement who sired numerous foals in the Ottawa area before his unfortunate death in 2002. His offspring have gone on to perform equally well in hunter, jumper and dressage venues.

Mom's dam, One Last Slide, was a successful TB broodmare that earned top placings at every show she attended with her owner Linda Holt. Approved as a Canadian Sport Horse broodmare, she won in TB, CSHA and Open classes.

• Zero Tolerance was at her side when she was arrived at Full Horse Farm in 1999, and grew from a spindly foal to a sizable 16.3 hands. Mom herself is a generous, easy-going mare and she passed that attitude on to her foals. Toler was saddled, bridled and backed for the first time in a field with the lawn mower trimming the fence line in the adjoining field, and his buddies running up and down in excitement. Unlike his name, he was very tolerant of his amateur owner/trainer and proved to be quick to learn and as laid back as his mother. He was eventually sold to another amateur rider and went on to a career as an all round "do anything" horse.
• One More Charm by Tejano Red, a Silver Level Canadian Sport Horse was born in 2001 and is an elegant 16.3 hand CSHA mare with extraordinary gates and a gentle manner. Born a solid bay, she was the forgotten horse in the background as a youngster while all the other foals flashed their white markings. It wasn't until she was two years old that Charm proved she was their equal when, trained and handled by a raw junior, she brought home ribbons from the Ashland show in both the CHSA and Open classes. In June 2005 at her CSHA Mare Inspection Charm was awarded Premium status in spite of a hock injury from which she almost died in January of the same year. Her first foal, Full Ikon by Ikoon, is now showing what a great mare can produce - he is the ultimate hunter type.
• YoYo by Yavari is also an easy to handle boy, and a true hunter type. He was out hacking at two years old after two days of training. Given that winter off to grow, he came back to his new owners at Twin Pines Equestrian and was under saddle in less than a day and off hacking again. Adored by everyone at the barn, he is a true gentleman even at the age of three and is relaxing this winter before starting serious training next spring.

If you're looking for a broodmare to produce true hunter types suitable for the "A" shows, Mom is the mare for you. Her foals are typy and well proportioned with super conformation. They show classic hunter attitude and style and are consistently bay.
