Full Horse Farm began breeding Canadian Sport Horses in 1998 and has since produced three generations of high quality performance horses for the discriminating rider. Working with two original broodmares, Full Alert and One Last Slide, and choosing top imported stallions with jumper and dressage backgrounds, the offspring have been winners in breeder, dressage, and hunter/jumper classes.
Stallions have included such well known sires as Popeye K (Voltaire), Yavari, Ikoon, Bratt Z, Wallis-Nordis, Tricolore (Voltaire), Tejano Red, and Bratt Z. All of these stallions are proven performance horses by world reknowned sires and are by mares with impeccable bloodlines.
Several offspring of the original broodmares have been retained in order to carry forward their outstanding bloodlines in future generations. Full Radar Alert out of Full Alert, and One More Charm out of One Last Slide, have continued the tradition by producing fabulous foals, and in 2007 Full Fantasia (Popeye K) presented us with a spectacular foal by Ikoon.
As good temperament is a prerequisite for both mares and stallions, Full Horse Farm foals are known for their trainability and good work ethic. Handled from birth, many of the foals start their show careers as weanlings at breeder shows, and are accustomed at a young age to show venues, bathing, farrier, trailering and showing in hand.
